It’s a rectangular umbrella. It super thin material though, so FYI. I like it well enough. Honestly it doesn’t keep the car AS COOL as the thick accordion-style car covers but it gets the job done for me. If you get direct sun over a long period of time I’m not sure how effectively it will keep your car cool. TIP: Don’t try to tuck UNDER the rear view mirror. Simply unfold, place over the rear view mirror and use the sun visors to keep in place. (See pictures included) I have a 2010 Mazda 3 and I bought the larger umbrella and I’m glad I did. If you have a large SUV it may be too small.works well and easy to open and closeI absolutely love this sunshade better than any other I’ve ever purchased. It was reasonable and it’s very functional and useful. Easy to unfold and fold with a touch of a button and a Velcro strap. Highly recommend!This thing is built sturdy and works great. However, I have a dash camera on my windshield and this thing gets tangled in it. I also constantly knock off things in my dash tray, like my driving glasses and any hats I have. Most times one or two spokes comes out. If in a hurry, I might not put them back in place, risking breakage when opening...It’s easy to set up, but to fold back, sometimes is hard because seems that parts might break…But other than that product is acceptable…If you look at the illustration carefully you'll see this windscreen shade is an umbrella-type design. Which means it is essentially useless for most vehicles, because you can't maneuver the item into position once it's unfolded (the steering wheel will obstruct any attempt) and you can't pre-position it because then it won't open. In short, this is an atrocious waste of time and money. Go for a generic folding screen design instead and save yourself the misery of realizing you ordered an engineering disaster.It's the exact size for my vauxhall grandland. Build quality is good for the price and if care is taken handling it I think it will last. Easy to put up and down, tucks up to the windscreen and sun visors hold it in place. The simplest of practically minded person will be able to use it.Unfortuantly this snapped at the top after a month of use so cannot recommend it.Surprisingly easy to use. I used the car’s sunshades to keep it in place. Much easier than the fabric ones that are so flimsy when they get hot.Doesn’t fit, doesn’t work, returned.
