I did not buy it for snow, but it makes a far superior sun cover than those that go inside the window.I specifically bought this item because it covers up where the wipers go underneath the hood. Because it’s not just the windshield wipers but the gears underneath. So we’ve only had two snows and it has worked well so I would recommend it. It is not easy to attach I had difficulty finding pieces inside to attach the hooks and difficulty finding places outside including the tire rims to attach the plastic hooks. I do wish it came with magnets for the top and definitely for the hood but overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I don’t really expect it to last more than one season but I am happy with my purchase.Directions would’ve been nice but I relied on videos the other kind people postedLight weight and easy to use and store. Update: after a couple months the magnets pulled through the delicate fabric and the flips fell off the no longer stretchy tie downs. I really like how this product works on my 4Runner. Too bad it doesn’t hold up to regular use.I sure it was very well made that is why I purchased it. It was stolen off my porch.The cover attaches and covers the windshield well. Magnets help keep the bottom of the cover attached. Straps have multiple attached points. Only concern is strong are the elastic straps. Better than I expected all in all.Nothing fancy, it works. Keeps me from fighting to get my windshield clear. Probably not big enough for a full size truck.This cover deserves 5 stars across the board. The installation is simple and although there are other types out there that don't have the side view mirror straps (that technically would make those even easier to install) the elastic straps hold the unit in place so you can close the door onto the flaps at the top. This is very much worth the tiny effort - it takes less than one-minute to put on or take off. My only complaint at all is that the Large size was sold out so Ive had to wait to purchase two more for my SUVs.I put it on my car anytime I’m going to be away from it longer than 3 hrs, it works great for me, no more ice or snow to clean up or wait to defrost
